RESIDENTIAL COORDINATOR – CHINOOK VALLEY INC.

Full-Time, Permanent | Property South of Calgary

THE ROLE

Location: Property South of Calgary

We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Residential Coordinator. This position is responsible for overseeing and organizing personal and day-to-day requests of a Calgarian Couple.   Flexibility and adaptability are key as hours of work for this position will vary throughout the year, dependent on the Family’s schedule. The day-to-day schedule for this role will change, and therefore ensuring follow-up communication with the team with critical information is important. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All employees must ensure everything read and heard in the line of duty is kept strictly confidential.  A legally binding Confidentiality Agreement will be required.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the point of contact between the Family, Family Friends and business contacts;
  • Completing all errands, requests and queries as assigned by the Family;
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence in a professional manner;
  • Assist with event coordination, as requested;
  • Manage, monitor, and order household items, as requested, both in person and online;
  • Organizing, cataloguing and maintaining personal item inventories;
  • Co-ordinate with the Executive Assistant preparing the Family for travel when required;
  • Liaise with team members on a daily basis to ensure operations are running smoothly and to maintain to maintain efficiencies;
  • Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments;
  • Assist with preparing and cooking daily meals and holiday meals for Family and friends. and assisting with weekly meal planning when required;
  • Work in conjunction with the Estate Management Team, Head Housekeeper, and other housekeeping staff to maintain the residences and provide assistance where required; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

PROFILE AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrates strong leadership and team building skills. Has the ability to be collaborative, adaptable and flexible, complimented with strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Takes initiative and possesses a willingness to learn; creativity and innovation is encouraged;
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision, showcasing pride and accountability to the role which highlights the ability to be reliable and trustworthy;
  • Has strong organizational skills, is meticulous and detail oriented;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload and is solution oriented;
  • Energetic, dynamic and personable with a positive attitude;
  • Is available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required, based on the schedule of the Family;
  • Comfortable with technology and proficient with e-mail, WhatsApp and other forms of communication;
  • Knowledge of fashion and clothing is considered an asset;
  • A minimum of a high school education with 3-5 years of experience in a related position;
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history;
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada; and
  • Successfully complete a criminal, credit and driving backcheck process.
