PART-TIME PRIVATE HOUSEKEEPER

Part-Time, Permanent | SW Calgary, AB and Bragg Creek, AB

THE ROLE:

Location: Home in the Southwest quadrant of Calgary, with periodic travel to Bragg Creek.

Hours: Part-Time, working 18+ hours per week, preferably Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Reporting to: the Principals.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to assist with the upkeep and cleanliness of an adult couple’s private households. This role is based primarily at a beautiful home in the Southwest quadrant of Calgary, with occasional travel to the family’s second property in Bragg Creek.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in maintaining a well-kept home, enjoys hands-on housekeeping, and is attentive to the homeowner’s preferences. Discretion, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the household’s cleanliness and organization, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for the homeowners. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, garages and other requested areas throughout the home;
  • Laundry care, including washing, ironing, steaming, and organizing clothing and linens;
  • Organizing and tidying closets, pantries, and storage spaces with the supervision of the Principals, and assisting with taking clothes to applicable locations for donations;
  • Grocery shopping and running household errands as needed may be required;
  • Handling delicate items such as antiques and fine furnishings with care, and waxing furniture, as needed;
  • Driving for household-related errands (e.g., dry cleaning pickup, deliveries) may be required;
  • Adhering to confidentiality and privacy standards; and
  • Other housekeeping-related duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

  • Housekeeping experience is a requirement;
  • A minimum of a high school education with 3-5 years of experience in a related position;
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history;
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada; and
  • Successfully complete a criminal, credit and driving backcheck process.
